- I am an associate professor in the English Department and Co-Director of Honors. I teach literature, composition and creative writing. I am active in the faculty senate, the Women's History Month Committee, the Suburban Studies Group, an advisor to the Honors Association and Labyrinth, treasurer and member of the Steering Committee of the New Jersey Writing Alliance, and member of the The Beacon Conference Steering Committee and Co-Director of Beacon 2008, which is being hosted at Bergen.

Do you know a couple Student Creative Writers that would like to share Poetry within a Singer Songwriter evening in the Student Center on a Wednesday or Friday this semester? The Media Club & The MIC are planning on video taping! We would love to include Poetry!

Life in my house is hectic! My older boys have entered the teenage years. It is sometimes surreal to be raising teenagers & a toddler at the same time. Each requires different parenting skills & needs. However, I wouldn't change a thing.
The Beacon was a fulfilling experience for me. I thank you for encouraging me to participate in the event. I look back at the experience fondly.

I originally started BCC with an interest in Creative Writing & focused on the Creative Writing Club quite a bit with poetry.
These days I'm applying music with such & feel it's the best of both worlds for me.
What's happening in the creative writing department these days?
